The weather could have been better today, but we still managed to put together a catch of small gaffers and hoister size dolphin for this duo.
It was their first time offshore, so I was hoping for better sea conditions than what we found, but my group seemed to enjoy the bouncy ride. We dodged some pretty heavy rain squalls, except for when I found a school of dolphin around a bucket, it began to rain pretty hard, but they stood out there and caught some fish anyway. I was hoping for a marlin bite, especially since the few boats that went out yesterday had good action, but there wasn’t much happening. A couple other gaffer bites during the day would take it in for us. I heard of a couple wahoos, but none for us.
