September Wahoos

Today’s action wasn’t "nonstop" by any means, but we had an occasional bite, and each one was a quality fish.

Our average was probably better than 50% today on our catch to bite ratio, and we managed to land five wahoos, including one that was 40 pounds, and earned a citation. I didn’t hear of much variety today, no dolphin, and maybe a couple of small yellowfins in the fleet. The light north wind that was forcasted wound up blowing about 20 all day, so it wasn’t slick calm, but still plenty fishable. The north wind has cooled things off this past week, and I must say the weather has been quite comfortable. Also, one of the most spectacular sunrises I’ve seen in a while. Thanks for a great day guys!
