Today was cool, cloudy and breezy, but the fish didn’t seem to mind!
It was a plenty nice enough day to be offshore, and we had great wahoo action from the start. I don’t think we caught half of our bites, and we still wound up with seven wahoos. Somewhere in the middle of all the action, a pair of sailfish showed up in our baits, and Justin was able to feed him a little rod for some great action. As if we weren’t blessed enough, I found a half of a sheet of plywood floating that had some small gaffers around it, and we managed to catch a few of them as well. The winds picked up considerably about the time we were starting for home, so the ride in was a slow, wet one, but all’s well that ends well. Thanks guys!
