The Day We’ve Been Waiting For

The fish, the conditions, the weather, everything finally got on track today! This is what Hatteras offshore fishing is like!

We’ve been anxiously awaiting our May dolphin fishing, and it looks like things are finally getting in gear. I only had two guys in my group, so we were a bit short handed, but after three or four nice schools of small to medium gaffers, and bailers, we had our limit of dolphin. My buddy was dying to break in his new jigging pole, so we stopped for a few amberjacks on a wreck first thing. There were a couple white marlin caught today, and a couple blues seen. The day was gorgeous, and it was great to spend it with a good friend. Thanks Keith
