Hatteras fishing continues to be good offshore.
I didn’t know if we would get the whole day in or not, due to numerous storms forecasted for the afternoon. As it turned out, we never had any rain and the seas were calm all day. It made for a wonderful trip for these guys. We had pretty good dolphin action today, gaffers and bailers. My new pal Patrick caught a nice gaffer, probably close to 20 pounds. Good job Pat. One boat got hit by the tunas out in the deep, and there was a wahoo or two caught. There wasn’t much billfish action today, one blue marlin was lost, and that’s all I heard of. Thanks Eldon.
