Another Dynamic Duo

Hatteras fishing doesn’t get any better than it was offshore today…again!

These two guys got a workout. First of all, the north east 10-15 was more like 25 and gusty this morning, so it was a matter of hanging on for the first couple of hours. During the blow, the marlins were biting. We went 0 for 3 on the whites, one was a teaser bite that wouldn’t switch off, and the other two we simply missed. There was a good sign of blues and whites seen and caught throughout the fleet though. Everybody got what dolphin they wanted, mostly gaffers. We caught our limit, and it was chaos for these guys. There was a sign of yellowfin as well, and even though we didn’t wind up in the right spot while they were biting, there were a handful of 50-60 pounders caught. By this afternoon, the wind had fallen out pretty for a nice ride home. Thanks Allen and Brandon!
