We had perfect Hatteras fishing weather again today, and more great dolphin fishing!
We found the "blue million" school of dolphin, first thing this morning, and had our limit shortly after 8:00. That part was great, but there wasn’t much else going on the rest of the day. My guys seemed to want to target a marlin, so I stayed to the task, and did finally have a bite. I couldn’t quite tell if it was a white or a blue marlin, but we missed him anyway, or I guess I should say he missed us. Overall the billfishing was slow, so I was glad to at least have the bite. The weather was hot, but at least it was slick calm!
