Daphne’s First Fish!

Today was the second day of a mid-summer northeaster, but it was cool and the fish were biting!

It was a little on the choppy side, but everybody in my group did well, and we managed to catch our limit of dolphin again today. It was a situation where you got a bite just about everywhere, but never really found a "mega school". It took us a few hours to get what we needed, but soon after 11:00 we were done. By then it was blowing 20-25 and instead of working further offshore, my group decided to head in along the beach and catch some spanish mackerel and bluefish. I was most proud of Daphne who had been offshore before but had never caught a fish. She was a fishing machine. Now she wants to go again in November! Thanks guys.
