The fishing cooled off quite a bit from the last time I fished, but it’ll get better.
The good news is that we finally made it back out, after sitting to the dock for the last few days. The bad news is that the fishing was terrible. No, I’m not gonna sugar coat it. The ugly part was, well, the ocean was ugly. It blew southwest 25 all day and it wasn’t for the faint of heart. My guys tuffed it out though, and moral was good all day, even though we only caught two dolphin. We did have two wahoo bites, but they both got away. We saw some cool stuff though, and my guys had a great appreciation for the "nature" side of the adventure. We saw a pair of sunfish, and right at the end of the day we had a long tailed tropic bird follow the boat for ten minutes or so. For pelagic bird watchers, that’s like a grand slam! Anyway, I appreciate everything Casey, and hope to see you next year.
