The ocean settled down today and the fishing picked up!
First thing this morning was the massive dolphin kill. One stop shopping. It sounded like they made a good showing up and down the line. Everybody who wanted dolphin got their limit. After that we went looking for something bigger. We had good luck getting bites, but horrible luck keeping anything on the hook today. We went 0 for 3 on our wahoo bites, and 0 for 4 on sails. Yeah, I know. We did have one of the sails on for a pretty good while, while 9 year old Avery did battle, but in the end the sailfish got away after a great show. I’m ready for the odds to go the other way! Anyway, thanks Derek and Troy for bringing the boys, and I hope to see you again soon!
