Today was the slickest day in a while, like glass. Dolphin fishing was excellent again today as well.
I have been trying to get my buddy Sean offshore for several years now, and today it finally happened. He brought Heath along who had never been offshore either. As soon as I slowed the boat down we found a big school of dolphin and caught our limit…one stop shopping. We never had a wahoo bite today, and there were just a few caught around the fleet today. I dropped on offshore to look for a marlin bite, but there wasn’t much going on out there either. One good thing was that the current was almost slack, so I took the opportunity to drop to the bottom. We caught our limit of snowy groupers in two drops, and went back to trolling. Sean caught a citation, 23 pounder and a ten pounder on one rig! Anyway, we had a great time, and look forward to doing it again! Thanks guys.
