September 26th Hatteras Offshore Fishing Report

The weather was reasonably nice, and the dolphin fishing was great!

We found our dolphin on the first color change, and on the eastern end of the fleet, but there was 5 knots of current and it took the rest of the day to fish back to where we started. The dolphin we found were big bailers with a couple of small gaffers mixed in, and we managed to catch our limit. There weren’t a lot of bigger bites today, but I think most everybody had a wahoo bite or two. We had a couple, but they both got away. Thanks Jim for a great time!
