Piddlin’ On The Skiff

I haven’t worked on the skiff a lot in a while, between a few fishing trips, Thanksgiving, and the cold weather, I haven’t made much progress.

It takes the epoxy forever to "kick off" when it’s cold, so I manage to get a couple of hours in, and then have to stop for the day, while glue dries. There’s really not a whole lot left to do though. The inside is glassed, I built one of the thwarts out of foam, glassed over, so it will be insulated to hold ice. I should finish the other two tomorrow. I’ll need to smear and sand the inside before I build the bow cap and gunwales. Fishing is still great, I wish I was out there more!
