Well, it was drizzly, but reasonably calm for a change, so it was nice to give my knees a rest!
This morning the bites were very sparse, so I decided to explore the deep and troll south. All you gotta do is get lucky one time right?! We covered a lot of ground without any action, but did raise a blue marlin to our spreader bar, but he wouldn’t bite anything. We made a stop over a wreck to let everybody jig an amberjack, but that would be the extent of our hook ups for today. The boats that worked up to the east scrapped out a few blackfins and yellowfins, so it was encouraging to hear of some action. Thanks a lot Chris, Julie and gang for a fun day!
