Things were pretty slow for us today but some of the guys had good blackfin tuna fishing.
There was a good sign of small blackfins to the south today, and as bad luck would have it, I went the other direction. I fully intended on scrapping out a catch of dolphin, but my plan just never came together. We had a very few bites and landed two small gaffers and three or four "flip flops". Sometimes it’s just not your day I guess. I also heard about a couple of wahoos and one blue marlin caught today as well. Thanks for hanging in there Gene, we’ll get ’em next time!
