There was still some pretty good marlin action in the seep, but not as good as yesterday.
We headed straight offshore, hoping to pick up where we left off yesterday. It wasn’t long before we hooked a white marlin, but the fight was short as he jumped off. We gave it a few more hours without any more billfish bites before moving back inshore and trying for some dolphin. I’d say it was hit or miss, some guys raised a few marlin today and some didn’t. That’s just marlin fishing. Anyway, we wound up catching two or three small gaffers, and found one school of bailers that we landed a dozen or so out of. Glad to have them. Thanks again Pat, and I hope to see you for some bluefin action this winter!
