7/5 Hatteras Offshore Fishing Report

The weather was pretty nice today. We got lucky with our fishing, on a day that was kinda scrappy.

There was plenty of habitat for the dolphins to gather around, just not plenty of dolphins. We got lucky and found a couple of bunches that were halfway cooperative, a couple of gaffers and a few other singles added up to a pretty nice catch for Arno and his family. We did catch a couple of blackfin tunas, and I heard of quite a few of them around the fleet. There were a few wahoo bites today, and only a couple of billfish bites. It did sound as if the fishing was pretty good to the south, so hopefully that stuff will be up here tomorrow. Thanks Arno!
