7/7 Hatteras Offshore Fishing Report

Conditions were about like yesterday, only today there were dolphin everywhere!

It was a bumpy ride offshore this morning, and we had to skirt around a few thunderstorms, but the fishing was pretty good. There were limits of dolphin caught from 25 fathoms out to the hundred. I only had two guys in my group, and it’s a little tough keeping a school of dolphin going when you are short handed, but Casey and Mike got it done, with Justin’s help I might add. I was hoping for a shot at a sailfish since there had been a few seen, but we didn’t have a whole lot of time before the wind started breezing and the sky turned ominous. Thanks again Casey, and I’ll see you in a couple weeks!
