I pulled my hair out for the first half of the day, but once things came together for us, we had GREAT action!
It was one of those mornings where I turned right when I should of turned left…over and over. I finally got a call to a good area of dolphin and we had a "one stop shopping" experience. Just as we were finishing up with our limit of dolphin, a sailfish paddled up behind the bailing rigs. Justin pitched a bait to him and hooked him up on a spinning rod. It was a great fight and a lot of jumps. A little later we caught a second sailfish, out of a doubleheader. It was near the end of the day, and a great way to wrap things up. The southern end of the fleet had some great wahoo action, so I’ll be looking for some of that action tomorrow as well! Thanks Casey, and maybe I’ll see you for your 40th…if you’re not feeling too old!
