7/29 Hatteras Offshore Fishing Report

We had a variety today, and lots of action!

I forsook the dolphin search this morning, and set my mind on some bigger bites first. Sometimes that can be risky, but my group seemed easy to please so I spent the morning dragging baits. We caught two wahoos and missed a few other bites, caught a gaffer dolphin, and one sailfish. The action around the fleet was about the same. Towards the end of the day I decided to look for a dolphin spot, and got lucky. We found a streak of grass and caught fifty dolphin out of two different schools, in the last hour. All in all, a well rounded day! Thanks for setting up the trip Mike!
