8/2 Hatteras Offshore Fishing Report

Today may have been the prettiest day EVER!

No matter what, I’ll take the pretty weather! Anyway, it sounded like nobody was going to have any trouble finding dolphin this morning, and it proved true for us too. We caught our limit in one stop and went on looking for bigger and better. Unfortunately, things were pretty dead otherwise. With the exception of an occasional dolphin bite, we never had a strike till 2:00! Fortunately it was a good one. Dave wrangled a 25 pound wahoo on a TLD 25, which made for a great fight. Glad to have him. There was a scattered wahoo around the fleet and a very few sails caught. Thanks Tom, and I hope to see you again soon!
