We never had to deal with the morning thunderstorms, but they were offshore of us on the way out, and made for a couple of cool pictures.
The fishing was pretty great today, we hunted down our dolphin early and caught our limit in a couple of stops. We did have a sailfish encounter while we were bailing dolphin. He came up under a longrigger bait dangling out of the pin and popped it out, bent the pole and came off. Justin pitched a bait to him, and he made a couple of half hearted passes at it, but no hook up. The wahoos decided to give us some action, and we successfully landed four out of five wahoo bites. We did have one other sailfish encounter, and a couple of mystery bites. Thanks Mike for a great day offshore!
