Today was our first actual charter since before Irene. I’ve got to say that I can’t remember a day that rained SOOO much ALL day!
I found a beautiful grass line today, and knew that we were gonna KILL the dolphin. There were a lot of fish around, but they just didn’t want to bite. It was frustrating to see them and not be able to catch them. We did catch 25, but we had to work for them. The wahoos didn’t make much of a showing today, we caught one, and that was our only bite. The highlight of the day came when we hooked four sailfish at once. Pouring down rain, lightning and thunder, sails jumping everywhere! We managed to catch two of them, congratulations Marshall and Brown! Anyway, maybe we’ll all dry out by tomorrow. Thanks for setting up the trip Charles!
