The weather was anything but perfect today, but we scrapped it out.
The squalls that we saw on the weather radar this morning appeared to be a little offshore of where we wanted to fish, but as we steamed offshore, the squalls intensified and moved inshore. We did the best we could to punch through the worst of it and then decided to set our lines out and hope the rain and wind would subside. After a couple of hours the rain let up, but the southwest wind leveled out at close to 20 and breezed all day. The weather made it a little harder to work, but we did manage to catch two out of five wahoo bites, three gaffer dolphin and a handful of bailers. Luckily we had Frank to show us "how it’s done"! Thanks Steve, good luck tomorrow and I’ll see you in November!
