10/21 Hatteras Offshore Fishing Report

There were only a few of us out today, and everybody else went south. I started in the middle and worked to the east since it sounded kinda scrappy down the line.

We caught one yellowfin, three blackfins and a wahoo in the morning. I made the decision, after a dry spell, to jog further to the east in hopes of finding a good sign of yellowfin, but after a ten mile steam, all I found was lots of current and scattered grass. We didn’t have any luck at all up there. The boats to the south wound up scrapping out a handful of tuna and wahoo, so I expect to head that way tomorrow. It was beautiful offshore today!
