My original notion was to look for live bait and try for the kings, but (A) bait was hard to find, and (B) there was cold dirty water over the king mackerel grounds. We headed on off to give the wahoos a try.
I hated to be late, but once we got there, the wahoo fishing was pretty good. We wound up landing six wahoos out of a dozen or more bites. Several of them were close to 40 pounds. We also caught three blackfins, just to add a little variety to the catch! It was a beautiful day, which is a rarity these days. Looks like the weather should straighten out after the weekend, let’s hope so! Thanks Greg!
