We spent most of the day in the wrong places but in the bottom of the 9th we finally got on some fish.
There was a huge "belly" of cold water over the area that we caught tuna in Thursday, so I made the decision to jog ten or twelve miles to the east. When I arrived, I was amongst twenty or more other boats who weren’t catching anything either! Since I was WAY out of position, the southern end of the fleet was whacking the wahoos and a few tuna. I made another run back to the west this afternoon and finally got myself in a good spot. We landed seven yellowfin (25-30 pounders) and four blackfin tuna in the last hour of fishing. We worked overtime and were late getting in, but it was worth it! Thanks again Rob!
