We were prepared for bluefins this morning, but delighted to find the yellowfins SNAPPING!
Short and sweet…the yellowfin fishing was off the hook this morning. We caught our limit of fish ranging from a couple of 18-20 pounders, on up to a couple just shy of 50. Most of them were in the 25-30 pound class. The bluefin bites were quite a ways further to the east, so since the box was full, we decided to fish back down the color change in the hopes of getting a mako bite. We finally had an encounter, but missed him. Thanks Ronnie for a great day of fishing, and I’ll see you again soon!
