The current was screaming today and the yellowfin bites were almost non-existant.
There were a few bluefin bites up to the east this afternoon, but I made the decision around lunchtime to steam back down the beach and try to get out of some of the current. We had a little bit of luck, 25 miles later. Fortunately we were able to jig a handful of blackfins and skipjacks in the last hour to make out day and put some fish in the box! Thanks again Henry!
