There were only two of us out today, but it turned out to be really nice weather and great fishing!
The winds were forecasted to increase out of the southwest, and they did, but not before we got the majority of the day in and were about ready to go home. We had a variety of action today. I spent quite a bit of time fishing along a grass line this morning and again this afternoon. The dolphin we caught were almost all gaffers, a few in the 20s and one right at 30 pounds. We caught 8 wahoos for the day, out of a dozen or more bites. We also had some tuna action and managed to land seven or eight blackfins, including a citation 27 pounder, and one yellowfin. The wind is blowing right now but I am hopeful that it will fall out in time to get tomorrow in! Thanks again Bunky. Marshall, I hope to see you and Michelle again soon!
