We got a good dose of north wind today, in excess of 25 till lunchtime.
The couple of boats that fished yesterday had excellent fishing, so we were anxious to get out there, rough or not. We knew it was gonna be a killer day when we hooked a wahoo on the first line in the water! The bites turned out to be fewer than expected, and after the wahoo, we caught one yellowfin and one small gaffer dolphin. We did miss a couple of tuna bites and pulled off one other nice fish, but overall it was slow. Fortunately the winds moderated by quittin’ time and we had a nice ride home. Greg, you guys are the best. I hope to see you in September!
