4/12 Hatteras Offshore Fishing Report

After all the warm weather, the last couple days have been a switch. Today the wind was blowing northwest 25, but forecasted to diminish by lunchtime. We talked it over and decided to give it a go.

Once we got to the fishing grounds, well, it was still windy, but plenty fishable. My group was tough and seemed to enjoy the whole day. Fishing wasn’t as good as it has been, but everybody got to land a quality fish. We caught two wahoos and three gaffer dolphin. We had a few other dolphin encounters but that was about it. Thanks for bringing the kids Neil, and I look forward to meeting Ruby next time!
