6/20 Hatteras Offshore Fishing Report

We enjoyed another beautiful day offshore, and more great dolphin fishing!

I started my day east of the fleet, which most of you know is unusual for me. I thought after a while that I might have been "out to lunch", since it was sounding like the best of the dolphin fishing was a good ways west of me. We never really found a huge school of dolphin, and the birds were starving, which made it impossible at times to even fish. We did, however, scrap along, one here and one there. The cool thing was that a good number of the fish we caught were gaffers again today. By the time we headed in, we had put together another really nice catch of fish! The boats that fished for marlin had good action today, and I also heard about a few wahoo bites, including one that skied on our teaser! Thanks Ken!
