Other than the rain, the majority of today was beautiful!
Only two boats were out today, and I chose the more southern route. Things were slow for most of the morning, although we did catch a wahoo before trolling off in the deep. I found a float and caught a handful of dolphin around it, then dropped to the bottom for a grouper. Working back in to the break, I ran in to some good wahoo action. We pulled off a lot of fish but still wound up catching five out of thirteen bites for the day! The last hour was nuts, especially once the wind shift came and it started blowing 20-25 from the north, plus the fish were biting! Thanks for a fun day JP, and I’ll see you guys next time.
