Thanksgiving Lids

I went out to the shop this morning to glass the lids that I built yesterday. I used marine plywood, juniper and foam. I rounded over all the edges so it would accept the fiberglass, filled screw holes and then wrapped them in 1208 fabric and epoxy resin.

I’ve knocked off for the day so I can prepare myself physically and mentally for this afternoon’s feast. We are truly blessed.

My buddy Mike is supposed to go fishing with me tomorrow on his annual Thanksgiving trip. The wind is still blowing but forecasted to get better, so I’m hopeful!
