We were the only boat offshore today, and even though the ocean was rough, we had plenty of action!
It was hard to keep baits out for tuna while the false albacore were biting so good. I don’t know how many we caught but they were wearing Justin out! We had an occasional yellowfin bite and wound up with six by the end of the day. These were nice yellowfins, in the 50-60 pound range. I snapped a picture of my buddy Mike is posing with a 60 pounder. By the afternoon the seas had started dying down, so hopefully things are getting ready to get back in order. Thanks guys, see you this winter!
