The weather was pretty nice offshore today, and we had plenty of action!
Unfortunately most of the action wasn’t what we were looking for, but we stayed busy. I was targeting blackfins today but the albacore wore us out. When we finally did hook a couple of nice blackfins, the sharks ate them. It was a little frustrating. We did manage to hang on to three, and a half, tunas. Two of the three were big enough for citations, a 25 and a 30 pounder, thanks to Frank! I’d say that within the hour those tuna steaks will be on a plate beside a baked potato and a salad! Enjoy.
