Brown And Gold

Today I had my March faithfuls from Massachusetts. They never want to fish for bluefins, so we catch whatever we can! Today we struck gold on the bottom.

Tony got things started with a citation 46 pound snowy grouper on a jig. It was a fight that was definitely worthy of a certificate from the state. Next I found a spot that had an abundant sign of golden tilefish, and we caught our "one per angler" limit of those as well. The tiles were 20-30 pounders. We didn’t have much trolling action, but wound up with a box full of high quality table fare anyway! The report I got from the bluefin fleet was lots of fish seen, but they didn’t bite too well. Thanks for another great trip Bob!
