It was another beautiful day offshore!
We got off to a great start landing three nice yellowfins out of four, within the first half hour. After that we caught three nice gaffer dolphin, but then it was a pretty long dry spell. It sounded like things were slow everywhere so I suggested that we jog inshore and look for a cobia. My guys bit on the idea, and it turned out to be a good gamble. We saw eight cobia, hooked four, and landed three. Two of them were in the 30-40 pound range but Jake landed a monster 83 pounder for his high school graduation present! It worked out to be a great adventure! Thanks George!
