Today my group wanted to stay in the deep and look for a marlin bite.
After a good showing of fish yesterday, I was pretty excited about giving it a try today, but we never raised a marlin. There were a couple of fish seen but overall slow. We did catch three nice gaffer dolphin while we were skipping baits, and made a quick drop to the bottom which yielded one snowy grouper and one yellow edge grouper. Dolphin fishing actually picked up today, and the boats that targeted them wound up with a catch. The cobias were still showing inshore as well. Thakns Sal!
