My group was so excited yesterday to see us come in with a yellowfin and said that they really wanted to catch one too!
It was a pretty windy day, 20 or so out of the north-northwest, but it increased to 25 for most of the day and probably closer to 30 by quittin’ time. We had steady action all day though, a handful of blackfins first, then a gaffer dolphin along. We got struck by the yellowfins and landed two out of four, so that really had the gang fired up. As we circled and searched for more tuna, a 350 pound blue marlin rose to a flatline and Riley was in the chair hooked up for over an hour till Justin got the leader for the release. Great job Riley. By then it was time to head in, but what a finish! See you next time John!
