6/17 Hatteras Offshore Fishing Report

It turned out to be a lot nicer today than I expected, and we wound up having pretty good fishing too!

We started right out with a school of bailer dolphin, which is always a nice way to "break the ice". I think the ADD got the best of me after 20 fish and a while without a bite, so I decided to go to the deep and take my chances. It was a good move, and even though we never raised a marlin, we picked at the gaffer dolphin, and got in the double bonus with a 51 pound wahoo! Thanks to Herb, Rick, and all the guys at Western Branch Diesel that keep us running!
