The last week and a half has drug by. I had to make some unexpected transmission repairs, which kept me out of the ocean for three days, and the wind has blown ever since. Finally today a few of us made it out, and had pretty good fishing.
The wind was straight out of the south, which had the grass streaked out, and difficult to fish, but there was a pretty good sign of dolphin if you worked for them. We wound up with a nice catch, mostly bailers and a couple of gaffers. No wahoos for us, but there were a few caught. The weather looks pretty nice for a stretch, so I’m looking forward to having more good things to report! Thanks Scott!
