10/6 Hatteras Offshore Fishing Report

It was another slick calm day, probably the last one for a while, but we sure enjoyed it!

There was a very scattered yellowfin bite this morning, and since we weren’t invited, I decided to work up and offshore in search of dolphin. My plan came together and we found an edge that was formed up with grass, way out in the deep. We managed to limit out on dolphin , but as I worked to the east, the tunas started biting back where I started. Some of the guys did pretty well, but I wasn’t gonna leave the good fishing that I had found. We did catch a handful of blackfins and one yellowfin as we worked back inshore in the afternoon. Thanks Ronnie, we’ll see you again soon!
