Merry Christmas!!
I know it’s been a while since my last post. We have been a little busy with commercial mackerel fishing but I have been slack with pictures. Thanks to everybody for a great 2013 season. I am very excited about 2014. Snowy Grouper and Golden Tiles will open back up after the first of the year, so if you have a taste for some big bottom fish, they will be available in a week. Bluefins are coming, and we are hoping for more good yellowfin fishing this spring too. I wanted to include a few pictures with this post. There were many that were special to me, but here are my top three. First, this October sunrise photo got the prize for this years best "ride to work" pic. Next was my son Simon with his first wahoo in August . Last but certainly not least is a picture taken on September 25th of my friend Michael Holdren on his last offshore fishing trip. He passed away shortly there after. He was a proud Vietnam veteran and I would like honor him in this post.
Thank you all for your friendship. Have a safe and blessed Christmas, and don’t forget that HE is the reason we celebrate!
