This time of year, when it’s cold and blowing, I’m usually piddling in my shop or on my boat, getting things ready for the next season.
The last couple days have been devoted to working on my fighting chair and re-wrapping some rods. Simon has had off from school and wound up finding projects of his own in the shop. With his new found fascination with waterfowl hunting, all he talks about is guns and dogs. He has rummaged through my scrap pile of juniper and started tracing out patterns of guns for me to cut out for him. Here he is with his latest pump shotgun. Notice the newly painted handgun drying to his right!
