Dean’s Great Catch!

After a solid week of wind, it was good to finally get back offshore.

Things are looking more and more like summer. The water temperatures are climbing and today I saw more grass and flying fish than I’ve seen so far this year. There wasn’t much current so we dropped the shopping cart down to the bottom and brought it back up with a nice snowy grouper. We had two gaffer dolphin bites today and Janie landed one of them. Today’s headline though was 16 year old Dean battling and releasing a 350 pound blue marlin. This fish put on a great show and gave Dean a hard fight. I wasn’t able to snap a photo of him beside the boat because he was too wild. Congrats Dean! Janie, I’ll see you in June, and John, thanks again for today!
