6/7 Hatteras Offshore Fishing Report

My pal Louis and "the boys" made the drive down from New York for another great day offshore!

We got pretty lucky with the dolphin fishing since there were a ton of boats out and not a lot of habitat. We worked hard for the first few hours and wound up with a nice catch of bailers and a few gaffers. We also made a couple of drops for a few grey tiles. We have a marlin tradition with this group. We have caught one every time they go out with us, but today the choice was made to spend the afternoon looking for a few more dolphin instead of skipping baits. There wound up being a few billfish bites in the afternoon and not very many more dolphin. Oh well! Thanks you guys…you’re the best!
