My old friends Butch and Becky came to see me today, after what seemed like forever!
I think today is the last day of the "calm stretch". We have enjoyed some beautiful weather this month for the most part.
Our day started out a little bittersweet. Our first bite was a blue marlin but he broke the leader while he was jumping. Bummer. After that, things were a little slow all over. We had three wahoo bites all day and landed one of them. Near the end I stumbled on a school of bailer dolphin and managed to box a few of them as well. Thanks for a great day offshore guys, can’t wait to see you again!
