9/26 Hatteras Offshore Fishing Report

Today the weather forecasts were dead on. Reasonably nice in the morning but pretty slanty out of the north by lunchtime.

You always have to keep your angle in mind. Some of the guys headed way south where the better wahoo fishing was yesterday, but I didn’t want to commit to the butt whippin’, if the wind picked up. We didn’t have any wahoo action, surprisingly, but there were a few bites down the line. We found some grass out in the deep and bailed some dolphin around it, and later in the day hooked a triple header of sails and landed two. Great job Dave and Reggie! See you guys in November for some yellowfin!
